Bill Buterman

• Bill has over 20 years direct mortgage and finance experience gained in the finance and banking industries. He co-founded and managed a mortgage finance company that funded in excess of $120 million annually.
• Bill also spent 5 years in senior management positions specializing in finance and corporate strategy, and funding in public and private corporations outside of the real estate business. He has acted as CEO, COO and Director for public organizations
• He has developed courses and lectured extensively in finance, real estate finance and mortgages at the University of Alberta, Mount Royal College and for private organizations, including RECA & BOMA.

Peter Weichler

• Peter brings over twenty years of Industry experience to the Howard Group. His background includes:
  • 12 years as a Senior Investment Advisor with three major Canadian Investment firms specializing in Small Capital stocks.
  • 2 years as a Loans/Lease Broker including one year with a leading Trust Company specializing in Oil and Gas Lending.
  • 3.5 years Commercial Bank lending with a Major Canadian Bank, including one year as a Trade Finance Specialist.
  • Educated in Edmonton completing a B.A. in Political Science and an M.B.A in Finance.
• Peter's background and experience will assist the Howard Group in providing financial sourcing and an expansion of the retail investor network and institutional money managers.

Grant Howard

• Since 1988, Grant has served as Owner and President of The Howard Group Inc., which is Western Canada's oldest investor and financial relations firm. With a focus on assisting small and micro cap companies, Grant has directed the raising of approximately $30 million in equity for Howard Group clients, assisted in the successful defense of two hostile takeover attempts, advised on mergers and acquisitions and worked with a myriad of management teams in the development and implementation of business plans. Grant is a member of the Calgary Angel Network Committee, a community backed effort to organize the angel investing network in Calgary. An extensive number of relationships with senior retail brokers, fund managers and individual investors has consistently proven to be of major benefit to clients of The Howard Group. • He is a former director of TSX listed Southward Energy Ltd. and is currently a director of Adulis Resources and ATC Petroleum Services International Inc., all listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Prior to forming The Howard Group, he enjoyed a multifaceted career in the communications industry spanning television and radio journalism to 1981 and crisis and media consulting to 1988. During that period, some of his clients included the Calgary City Police and the XV Winter Olympics Organizing Committee.

Trevor Stott

• Trevor has over 20 years experience in Public practice and consulting including 10 years in the CA practice he founded. His clients included real estate developers and builders.
• Trevor also has 10 years experience in senior positions in small to medium sized corporations and in the banking industry. He has been involved in strategic acquisitions and financing, both equity and debt, has managed public companies and has been CFO for both private and public companies.
• Trevor has personally been involved in commercial land assembly and development as well as multi family development and rental operations.
  

Jim Masleck

• Jim brings over 20 years of relevant business experience including:
  • Eight years as an Investment Advisor with a major Canadian wealth management investment firm.
  • Ten years of management experience with a major western Canadian oil & gas producer. Jim held a variety of responsibilities including creation of the corporate business plan as well as industry and competitive analysis.
  • Two years as Western Canada Business Manager for the chemical division of a major multinational integrated oil company.
  • Two years as Vice President Corporate Planning and Investor Relations of a CDNX listed company.
  • Directorship experience with two CDNX companies.
  • Jim is a Professional Engineer and holds an MBA.
