AeroMechanical Announces Successful Test Flight of AFIRS Global Voice™ in China

Calgary, Alberta CANADA, September 06, 2006 - AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (AMA - TSX Venture), ("AMS") is pleased to announce that the corporation has successfully completed the installation and test flight of AFIRS Global Voice™ on a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 in accordance with the Supplemental Type Certificate. AMS now has the capability and approval to provide voice and data services to Chinese airlines.

AMS is now building inventory and anticipates the full China program will be underway before year-end. AMS is submitting the corporation's Canadian/Chinese STC to the FAA for approval. Some Chinese airlines have indicated that they need FAA approval before beginning installations. Given the approval by Transport Canada and the CAAC this FAA process is a formality. The corporation expects FAA approval by the end of the third quarter. This is a milestone day for the corporation and AMS is very excited to be in a position to help China advance their aviation industry with our products and services.
