AeroMechanical Announces Successful Test Flight of AFIRS™ On Airbus A320 CALGARY, January 4, 2007 – AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (TSX.V:AMA) (“AMS”) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the installation and test flight of its data collection and information delivery tools (AFIRS™Uptime) on a Skyservice Airbus A320. SkyService Airlines is the number one requested charter airline in Canada with customers that include tour operators, corporations, government, relief agencies, and travel incentive companies. The airline is widely recognized for its quality service, and the versatility of its charter operation. With the successful test flight now completed, AMS has filed for an STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) with Transport Canada of the whole Airbus A320 family including the A319, A320, A321 models. Upon receipt of the Transport Canada STC, AMS will be filing for familiarization of the STC to EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) through bilateral agreements between Canada and these agencies. These filings will allow AMS to actively pursue opportunities with operators of these aircraft around the globe. Airbus estimates it has delivered 2944 aircraft from the A320 family and 2921 are currently in operation.
