Asia Now Resumes Aggressive Drilling Program at Beiya North, China

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 26, 2008) - Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NOW) announced today three drill rigs are now operating at Beiya North on the Beiya Project in Yunnan Province, China.
The 2,000-metre drilling program started in late October but was delayed for over two months due to extreme weather conditions and fuel shortages in the area.
All three drill rigs have resumed drilling with the program expected to be completed in mid-March with assay results by April.
Kaihui Yang, President stated "We are speeding up the drilling program at Beiya North where we have demonstrated significant potential for a large gold and base metal ore deposit."
The Beiya property covers an area of 586 square kilometres in Yunnan Province and involves two joint venture companies. Asia Now is earning a 70-88% interest in a joint venture with Yunnan Geology and Mineral Resources Company Limited and a 72-90% interest in a joint venture with Yunnan Non-Ferrous Geology and Mineral Resources Company Limited. The property is 60 km, by highway, north of the city of Dali, which is a 35 minute flight from Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan. There are several daily flights, a railway and a paved highway between the two cities. The Beiya property is one of two key projects the Company is exploring in China.
