TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 15, 2008) - Asia Now Resources Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NOW) announces that the Company operates as usual in both Habo and Beiya projects in Yunnan Province, which have not been affected by the serious earthquake that recently happened in Sichuan Province to the north.

"Although the earthquake was felt at both Habo and Beiya, "said Dr. Kaihui Yang, the President of the Company, "all the drill rigs are operating as usual at Beiya, and the work at Habo is progressing as planned".
