Asia Now Announces Resignation Of Director

TORONTO , Sept. 8 /CNW/ - Asia Now Resources Inc. (TSXV: NOW) (the "Corporation" or "Asia Now") announced today that Lord John Taylor of Warwick has resigned as a director of the Corporation due to his increased responsibilities in the British Parliament and increased time commitment to international organizations as a representative of the British Government. Lord Taylor has served as a director of Asia Now since 2005.

Douglas Scharf , Chairman of the Corporation, commented: "We are very sorry to lose John as a director but recognize his extremely heavy and increasing workload in the public service sector. Lord Taylor brought a unique skill set and perspective as a director of Asia Now given his experience in both the public and private sectors and his legal training. His fellow directors and management greatly appreciate his contribution at the board level and wish him well in his future endeavours."
