Asia Now Welcomes New Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 15, 2010) - Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NOW) announced today the appointment of Muliawan Sutanto as a new member of its Board of Directors. Educated in North America with an MBA, Muliawan Sutanto has over 15 years of international experience as an investment banker, strategy consultant, and board director. He has worked at major bank and investment institutions in Indonesia, and was actively involved in a number of large transactions in Indonesia and other areas of Asia. We welcome Mr. Sutanto to our Board, and with his extensive experience in Indonesia and other area of Asia, Mr. Sutanto will be playing an important role in bridging the Company with Asian funds and in expanding the Company's business into that area. Mr. Sutanto's appointment is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

The company also announced that Dr. Cheng Wen Cheng has stepped down as a director due to his heavy commitments to other organizations. We are grateful to Dr. Cheng for his contributions to Asia Now over the past two years and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
