Planet Organic Health Corp Announces Fourth Quarter and Annual Revenues

Sales Up 47% as Planet Gains More Momentum Through Continued Expansion Plans

EDMONTON , Oct. 25 /CNW/ - Planet Organic Health Corp (TSX Venture Exchange - POH), Canada's leading natural products retailer, today reported consolidated sales for the year of $55.3 million compared to $37.7 million last year, an increase of 47% or $17.6 million . Fourth quarter sales results for the 13-week quarter ending June 30, 2007 were $15.7 million compared to $10 million for the same period last year, an increase of 57% or $5.7 million .

The PLANET ORGANIC MARKET division showed a 13.8% increase in same-store sales growth for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 and 18.3% same-store sales growth for the year ended June 30, 2007 . Total revenues increased to $12.1 million compared to $7.6 million for the quarter, an increase of 57.9%. Annual sales increased to $40.6 million compared to $27.5 million over the previous year, an increase of 47.4%.

SANGSTER'S HEALTH CENTRES - another division of Planet Organic Health Corp - also reported sales results for the 13-week quarter ending June 30, 2007 . Total system sales increased by 5.2% to $4.1 million compared to $3.9 million in the same quarter last year. Annual system sales (which are equivalent to same store sales) jumped to $16.7 million vs. $15.5 million for the same period last year, up $1.2 million dollars or 7.9% over last year.

HEALTHY'S, POHC's corporate health centres, reported sales of $929,269 for the quarter. This represents a 1.5% increase over the same period last year when it was privately owned. Annual sales increased to $3.8 million over $3.7 million for the prior year, a total increase of 2.5%. The re-brand of Healthy's will be delayed until the second quarter of fiscal 2008. Healthy's has 7 locations in the Greater Toronto Area.

TROPHIC CANADA - a division of Planet Organic Health Corp, reported sales results for the 13-week quarter ending June 30, 2007 . Net sales for the quarter increased to $1.9 million up 12.5%. Annual sales increased 11.16% to $7.2 million vs. $6.5 million last year.

POHC consolidated sales are after consolidation entries. Segmented sales by division are prior to consolidation entries, reflecting their net sales to the industry and to related parties. Percentages are rounded. These figures are subject to final adjustments.
